Lunch at a venison farm ⋆ Antica Travel Co.
One of the best things about living in the country, is you get to do things like this. Instead of dressing up and going to a fine dining establishment to partake a succulent venison dish, you get to go out to the actual Mandagery Creek venison farm, meet the farmer Tm Hansen and his cook extraordinaire wife, Sophie Hansen (renowned local foodie and author of the awesome food blog Local is Lovely), and sit down to a three-course homecooked meal in a charming farm kitchen with twenty new friends. It’s BYO, so we met some of the other diners at nearby Cargo Road Wines cellar door, which gives a discount for anyone buying wine to take to this lunch. This vineyard has just released its’ first ever Sauvignon Blanc sparkling, oh my! and no guesses for what we rocked up to the event with.
These events are held once at a month at Mandagery Creek venison farm, and are an optional feature of our packages for groups of 6 or more. If you’re interested in having a three-course venison lunch and farm experience incorporated into your tour, Contact Us for more details.
