With an emphasis on organic & biodynamic food and wine experiences and sustainable farming during our local Autumn harvest and vintage, The Provenance Express is a 3-day hosted Experience Package with a carefully curated & hand-selected itinerary. Hosted by locals, this is the ideal way to discover the cool-climate Orange wine region of New South Wales – one of Australia’s hottest food and wine destinations.
Onboard food & wine tastings with local vigneron and producer; a fine-dining Welcome Lunch on a vineyard; orientation tour and boutique shopping; the Festival Night Market; day tour to Canowindra, a premium organic district within our region – includes tour of an organic fig and olive farm & vineyard with product tastings, as well as a long table lunch on a biodynamic vineyard with a strawbale winery, and additional private vineyard ramble and organic wine tasting; a Festival dinner event on Saturday featuring local and organic produce; a Sparkling Sunday breakfast; guided tour of an indigenous edibles community garden; visit to a boutique pop-up design store; local produce and farm store stops; and a visit to the historic village of Carcoar including boutique shopping, followed by a 3 course Farewell Lunch in our heritage dining venue, Antica Australis.

Note: you are very welcome to join the XPT Countrylink train at Strathfield (7.30am), Parramatta (7.42am) or Penrith (8.06am) stations or even at Katoomba (9.00am), just let us know in advance and please arrive at the station at least 15 minutes before the train is due for arrival. We will be in a dedicated carriage at the end of the train, Car G.

Vegetarians are easily catered for as part of the set menus being offered at each of our venues as part of our travel package, and we also happily cater for anyone with genuine food allergies to ensure you can enjoy the experience just as much as your friends.
Please note however – for dietary requests that are a matter of personal choice, such as vegan or gluten-free or a preference for no dairy, there is a 10% surcharge on your tour package cost to cover the extra cost of special meals catering. Why? We have several different caterers throughout our tour itineraries and special meal requests mean a lot of extra effort for everyone behind-the-scenes. The Orange region is currently pest and disease free and we would very much love to keep it that way! If you’re visiting from another wine or agricultural producing region, we would ask that you please ensure that you change footwear, clothing and jackets before joining our tour itinerary. Make sure you keep any items of clothing separate from freshly-washed items in your suitcase, and if you have chickens in your yard please don’t be the person to feed, water or visit them for 24 hours before you visit our region.
