In a salute to the Orange Wine Festival, we popped up at Cargo Road Wines for a wine tasting evening with a difference. Check out the photos of the event below, and check out details of the menu here

Venison meatballs swimming in cheese sauce, with the venison sourced straight from local deer farm Mandagery Creek Venison and complemented by a fig and ginger jam made on the Cargo Road Wines vineyard. Paolo also introduced our guests to the delights of an Italian dessert from the 16th century – Zuppa Inglese (or ‘English Soup’, a name which really doesn’t do it justice). It’s the Italian version of trifle, think tiramisu and then raise it ten.
