OUR COVID-SAFE STATEMENT

SILVER COMPASS TOURS COVID-SAFE STATEMENT.

Silver Compass Tours is registered as a COVID-safe business with the NSW State Government. In compliance with new regulations, we take the health, comfort and safety of our guests, staff and regional stakeholders very seriously.

We are a Quality Accredited Tourism Business through the Australian Tourism Accreditation Program and have global accreditation and certification in sustainable and responsible tourism through the internationally-recognised Travelife program.

WE ARE COVID-SAFE

All guests on Silver Compass Tours experiences must comply with the following regulations to help us ensure the wellbeing of everyone. Please be mindful that we are based in a country region which is currently COVID-free and we would very much like to maintain that. If you are feeling unwell, have a fever or even just the sniffles please reconsider your booking. We are more than happy to transfer you to an alternative date or to provide you with a full refund.

We additionally reserve the right to advise you to reschedule your tour or to cancel your tour based on changing Federal or State government regulations and any ‘non-essential travel’ warnings issued by Federal or State governments or local government authorities (including police). In these circumstances a full refund will be provided to you and we thank you in advance for your patience, kindness and understanding in this situation.


WE HAVE ENABLED COVID-SAFE PRACTICES:

Every guest is required to provide their full contact details in advance of the tour.

Our tour transport is disinfected and sanitised both prior and after each tour group.

Hand sanitiser is to be used each time you disembark and embark on tour transport.

Hand sanitiser is to be used on entry to each venue on your tour.

If regulations require, all tour guests and staff will wear masks while on tour transport.

We will notify you as far in advance in possible if our tour hosts, assistants or drivers are unable to proceed with the tour due to illness. A full refund will be provided in the case of alternative staff not being able to be sourced as replacement.


PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR FULL CONTACT DETAILS:

We require the full names, mobile phone numbers and residential suburb of each guest in your tour group. This information must be received one week prior to commencing your tour.

This information will be held in a secure, password-protected place for 28 days as per government regulation requirements and this information will not be used for any other purposes other than to be supplied to government authorities for contact tracing purposes.


HAVE YOU HAD EXPOSURE?

If you have travelled to, reside or work in local areas with reported COVID-19 cases you are kindly asked to reconsider proceeding with your tour. A full refund is available.

Guests from known COVID-hotspots AND areas with reported COVID-19 cases are kindly asked to reconsider proceeding with your tour, a full refund will be provided.

We reserve the right to cancel your tour booking if your place of residence or work is reported as an area with reported cases. A full refund will be provided.

If you have travelled internationally within the last 14 days, have had exposure to a confirmed COVID-19 patient, or even had exposure to someone currently in quarantine awaiting test results for COVID-19 you are kindly asked not to join the tour. A full refund is available.
