HOSTED LOCAL EXPERIENCE:

If due to unforeseen circumstances you are unable to join us and need to cancel your booking, we require written notice of at least 30 days prior to your tour package commencing to provide you with a full refund.

For cancellations received with less than 30 days prior to the tour commencement date, you will be charged a 25% fee on total cost of tour package as we are subject to third-party supplier arrangements.

Cancellations received within 7 days of the tour commencement date are subject to 100% of cost being non-refundable, unless a replacement from our waiting list can be sourced. In the case of replacement, you will be subject to just a 25% non-refundable fee. All claims for refunds will be subject to a minimum processing fee of $50.

No refunds will be payable in connection with airline or train delays, unused services, or other acts beyond the control of Silver Compass Tours.

HOSTED ITALY EXPERIENCE:

If you have paid for your Hosted Travel Experience to Italy in full and need to cancel your participation due to circumstances beyond your control, we require at least two (2) months written notice to be able to refund your balance payment.

As we are subject to third-party supplier terms for all booking arrangements, 25% (including reservation fee) of your total tour package cost is considered as a non-refundable deposit, due to third-party supplier booking arrangements. However your reservation fee is completely transferable to an alternative future tour date. Please see our Terms of Service for more information.

Any refund for medical or other reasons may be subject to the supplier’s terms and are otherwise at our sole discretion. We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance at the time of booking to cover any unforeseen events.

Refunds may, where indicated, include a deduction for fees and commissions and will include any GST. Any refund may be subject to exchange rate fluctuations and/or bank fees. We cannot accept responsibility for such additional fees or costs or any discrepancy in refunded amounts.

In some cases, refund and cancellation policies may vary based on an individual tour operator, event or other third party individual refund and cancellation policy. We will notify you prior to any reservation or booking you may make in the event of any refund or cancellation policies that are different to our own.

All Hosted Travel Experiences to Italy are generally non-transferable, however in some cases it may be possible depending on any issues with third-party suppliers. Where possible, if required, we will endeavor to assist you on a case-by-case basis.
